Job

Shadower is a branch of the Explorer Thief class. Upon reaching Level 30, an Explorer Thief can become a Shadower by choosing to become an Bandit after completing the 2nd Job Advancement at Level 30. Their second job is Bandit, their third job is Chief Bandit, and their fourth job is Shadower.

Class Specifics

The Shadower job branch, unlike Night Lords, uses Daggers as their primary weapon, and Dagger Scabbards or Shields as secondary weapons. Instead of attacking from afar, Shadowers focus on fighting monsters up close. They have a variety of attacks for fighting multiple mobs, including Savage Blow, Phase Dash, and Boomerang Stab, as well as a few attacks for one-on-one combat, including Midnight Carnival and Assassinate. In 3rd job, they gain a skill called Shadow Partner, which mimics the player's attacks, dealing extra damage at a reduced rate. In 4th job, they gain a buff called Shadower Instinct, which increases their attack as well as giving a new method of gaining damage called Body Count; this system allows the player to deal extra damage with Assassinate as well as give the player additional attack power when their Body Count is full and the buff is used. Their Hyper Skill Flip of the Coin allows them to significantly increase their damage (stacks up to 5 times).

Their job specialty skill is Critical Growth, which increases Critical Rate every few seconds and while attacking, resetting every time it reaches 100%. This skill is upgraded in 4th job with Prime Critical, increasing Critical Rate even further while gaining the ability to increase Critical Damage in a similar manner.

Job Advancements

1st Job Advancement

When the player reaches Level 10 as a Beginner, aspiring Thieves will be sent to the Hideout in Kerning City to talk to the Dark Lord, who will advance the player to an Rogue. The player will be given an HP and MP boost, as well as a basic thief weapon.

2nd Job Advancement

At Level 30, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from the Dark Lord, who will send the player back to the Hideout. He will allow the player to choose to advance to either an Assassin or a Bandit; a player that desires to become a Shadower will want to advance to a Bandit. The Dark Lord will send the player to a special map to collect 30 Dark Marbles from the Swamp Monsters inside. Upon returning, he will advance you to a Bandit.

3rd Job Advancement

At Level 60, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from the Dark Lord once again, who will teleport the player to the Chief's Residence in El Nath to speak with Arec. He will teleport the player to the Dead Mine's Holy Ground at the Snowfield, where the player must click on the Holy Stone at the bottom of the map to enter another dimension. Once there, walk to the right portal to enter the Dimensional World and defeat Dark Lord's Clone inside to obtain the Black Charm. Return to Arec with the quest item in hand to advance from a Bandit to a Chief Bandit.

4th Job Advancement

At Level 100, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from Arec. After speaking to him, the player must head to Leafre and venture to the Forest of the Priest, which can be accessed by walking to Valley of the Antelope 1 and entering the portal on the top right (indicated by a wooden face-like structure) to meet Hellin. She will give the player the task to obtain the Heroic Pentagon from Manon, Herald of Heroes and the Heroic Star from Griffey Herald of Heroes. Return to Hellin and speak to her again to advance from a Chief Bandit to a Shadower.
