Mo Xuan is a Chinese exclusive job serving as the replacement of Zen in ChinaMS and TaiwanMS in the MapleStory: Awake update. He uses a War Fist as his primary weapon and a Fist Ring as a secondary weapon.

Story[]

Centuries ago, there was a man who devoted himself to protecting the residents of Jianghu. According to records, his name was Wu Shen, and he would use Martial Arts to protect people from monsters. By the end of his life, he had become a god, and he wanted to ensure the safety of Jianghu and its people. To ensure the God of Martial Arts's memory and power would live on, Wu Shen's spirit reincarnated into another child, with many more successors born as the God of Martial Arts over the next few centuries. While Jianghu remained peaceful, only Wu Shen's powers remained, with his memory fading over the years. As a result, many would start to fight for his powers, and others believed that Wu Shen himself was only a legend.

In the present day, a student at the Xuan Mountain School named Mo Xuan is revealed as the current inheritor of Wu Shen's powers. After he experiences the destruction of his school by a group of soldiers in black, his sealed powers awaken. To rebuild and restore his sect, he begins his adventure in Maple World.

Mo Xuan combines the moves of Xuan Mountain School and the power of Wu Shen into a new martial art. Once the power of Wu Shen is all gathered, Mo Xuan can use enhanced Qi skills.

Mo Xuan has the same Link Skill and Legion effect as Zen.
The word "Mo" (墨) and "Xuan" (玄) mean ink and mysterious respectively in Chinese.
