Light Dark Affinity

Luminous UI

Luminous uses a balance of Light and Dark magic. After completing the tutorial, there is a choice between Light and Darkness. These choices will slightly affect the storyline and grant him Light Affinity or Dark Affinity respectively, which increases the damage of the respective affinity.

Upon reaching the 2nd Job, there is a UI which depicts an empty orb. Once the player uses a skill, light or dark, the orb will immediately fill up with 100% purple or blue, respectively. Using light magic will increase the dark side of the orb until it is fully purple, activating Eclipse, and vice versa will activate Sunfire.

Description Fill your light gauge completely to gain bonus damage with light magic. Each light magic attack will also restore some HP.
Level 1 Light skills deal an additional hit dealing 50% of Final Damage and restoring 1% of your base HP per cast.

Description Fill your dark gauge completely to gain bonus damage with dark magic. Dark magic uses 0 MP.

Description Your perfect balance between light and dark increases Knockback Resistance and reduces all enemy attacks to 1 damage. All your spells will deal extra damage with no cooldown. Light spells will recover HP, and dark spells will not use MP.

Level 1 Knockback Resistance +100% for 10 sec.
When using light and dark spells, delivers an additional attack inflicting 50% of Final Damage for each hit.
When Equilibrium is active, delivers an additional attack inflicting 100% of Final Damage for each hit. Ignores all cooldowns.
Dark spells cost 0 MP. Light spells restore 1% of HP.
The total number of hits cannot exceed 15 for both Light and Dark attacks.

Description Teleport in the direction you want by becoming a beam of light. You will be invulnerable for a short time after teleporting. However, you will not become invulnerable unless you actually move.
Using the up arrow key with jump in the air allows you to use Light Leap to jump higher. After using Light Leap, Light Speed can be used even if there is no platform. Also permanently increases Speed and Jump.
Level 5 required to learn Light Speed Boost.

When the light/dark gauge is full in Auto Mode, you can enter Equilibrium state even when using the Equilibrium skill, Gate of Light, Aether Conduit, or Baptism of Light and Darkness.
