Senya Angler is a member of the Angler family and a cyborg created by her father, the founder of the Angler Company.

Story[]

Early Life[]

Senya was originally a human girl who was adopted by Alter Angler, the founder of the Angler Company and turned into a cyborg, alongside Nicky, Laha, and Cosim, using technology stolen from Odium.

Hoyoung's Storyline[]

After Hoyoung solves the problem in Cheong-woon Valley, he can visit Willow to hear Grandis's foreshadowings:

A Mechanical Body

In certain places, technology has advanced far enough that people can replace parts of their bodies with synthetic parts.

But the knowledge necessary to create such technology is considered a great secret, and very few people know how to do it.

The rumors say there's even someone who went as far as to replace their entire body with mechanical parts.

Do you think that means they'd get a mechanical brain, too? How would they know they were still themselves?

The character referred to in this story is implied to be Senya.

Detective Rave's Case Notes[]

Detective Rave's Case Notes Senya

Following a cataclysmic explosion at the Angler Company headquarters, Alter Angler was severely injured and his power source was destroyed. In order to repair himself, Alter sent his children to collect large quantities of power for him.

To this end, Senya was sent on a mission to collect power in Savage Terminal when her ship was accidentally shot down by the Adversary when they were tricked into having a rogue Lab Tech bot fire a rocket during a free luxury tour scam.

Senya jettisoned herself in an escape pod and landed near the Adversary and several hoodlums led by Toole. She told the group that her ship contained valuable cargo, after which Toole told the Adversary to recover the cargo, hoping to keep it for himself.

The Adversary soon allied themselves with Detective Rave, who quickly deduced that the cargo contained technology created by the Angler Company. Rave soon interrogated Senya, who claimed that she was part of an environmental organization called Sea Lantern, and that the cargo was for a powerful cleaning device that could boil the impurities out of any substance. She also explained that her escape pod had sent out a distress signal to her colleagues, who were coming to pick her up. When Rave asked if she had any enemies who would want to shoot her ship down, she explained that she had received a few threats from those who didn't appreciate her work.

After interrogating Senya, Rave told the Adversary that Senya's mission to clean up pollution was actually harmful to Savage Terminal, whose power came from processing polluted seawater. He also added that all the wildlife of Savage Terminal would go extinct without the pollution to which they had adapted. Eventually, the group located the cargo at the Brawl 'n' Bash Club, the former headquarters of Mr. Hazard, where one of his old cronies named Maroni had taken possession of the device. Rave and the Adversary attempted to steal the device, which suddenly got teleported away. Rave then asked one of his allies, Corbo, to save Senya, as he feared that Toole would sell Senya on the black market with the disappearance of the cargo.

The two then tracked the device to the sewers, where they encountered Cosim, who explained that the device contained gas that would react to the polluted seawater, which would turn the waters acidic and boil everyone to death, effectively wiping out Savage Terminal and leaving behind a pure source of energy.

Realizing that Senya was part of the Angler Company, Rave rushed ahead to save Corbo. He then arrived to find that Senya had used her cybernetic arm to defeat Toole and his thugs, after which she explained that she only had two charges left in her teleporter, and that she was willing to have one person between Toole, Rave, and Corbo to join the Angler family. Toole immediately accepted, but when Rave informed him about Senya's plans, he turned against her. Rave then swiped at her robotic arm and stole her remote.

Meanwhile, the Adversary arrived as Cosim disabled the device. However, a group of Gloogers from the sewers brought the weapon to them, causing them to remember Cosim's warning that the weapon would explode if moved. Raven then used the remote to teleport the weapon to Senya's escape ship, which exploded in the air, though Senya ultimately survived.

Reverse City[]

Following T-Boy's defeat in Reverse City, Senya called him as he flew away in his ship and mocked him for his failure. She then asked him what he thought of the Adversary, to which T-Boy told her that he believed that they would be useful for their father's plans to invade Odium.

Hotel Arcus Story[]

Following a tip from Cosim, the Glory Guard arrived at Hotel Arcus in order to investigate traces of the Ancient Gods. At the same time, Senya arrived with her Senyabots and attempted to buy the hotel from its owner, Rusty. While Rusty slept on the offer, Senya began exploring the desert and later joined the Glory Guard on their treasure hunt to find an object which could help them on their quest to find traces of the Ancient Gods. Senya and her Senyabots proved helpful during the mission, though they discovered that the object that they had been searching for was actually a bomb.

In the aftermath of the mission, Senya repaired several robots, such as Rusty's friend, Archelon, which had been broken during their quest. Rusty then sold the hotel to Senya, after which he went on a walk to clear his mind. Senya then revealed to the Glory Guard that a large fortress was buried beneath the hotel, along with ancient superweapons, and that Archelon was the key to awakening them.

She then revealed that she had seized control of Archelon when she had fixed him, after which she had him awaken the ancient superweapons, which were enormous robots that took no damage from the Glory Guard's attacks. Meanwhile, Rusty discovered that an old screw had been hidden inside the bomb and rushed back to find the Glory Guard defeated.

Archelon then attempted to override Senya's programming and deactivate the robots several times, after which Senya ordered her robots to destroy Archelon. As Rusty sobbed over Archelon's destroyed body, the rusty screw rebuilt him and awakened Archelon, whose consciousness was that of an Ancient God that slumbered beneath the hotel. After Archelon deactivated the robots, Senya readily agreed to sell the hotel back to Rusty, claiming that a defense system that one couldn't control was useless. She then disappeared before the Glory Guard could apprehend her.

Odium Story[]

Following Nicky's apparently death at Karote, Senya hacked into her father's communication system and overheard his phone call with Nicky, who had been plummeting to his death. Senya was unnerved by Nicky's claim that he had been programmed by their father and realized that the Angler family was just a group centered around their father, with even his children referring to each other as siblings merely for show. Though she knew that she had likely been built the same way, and though she didn't care whether Nicky thought of her as an older sister or not, she realized that she still hadn't wanted him to break the way that he had.

Soon after, Senya was approached by Laha, who impatiently told her that their father was waiting on her to begin their invasion of Odium. Senya noted that it was good timing, as an Apostle of Gerand Darmoor was coming to open the door to the laboratory. Senya and Laha then led the Company fleet alongside their father and hacked into the Guardians to turn them against the Constables.

During the siege, Senya and Laha heard reports of the Guardians being destroyed and came to investigate. Upon witnessing some of the Guardians exploding, Laha noted that she had thought that someone was destroying the Guardians, though she was unimpressed to find that they were merely self-destructing because of conflicts in their systems, adding that the researchers were foolish for having made so many ‘junk robots'.

Laha then asked Senya whether Darmoor's Apostle was here yet, adding that since she knew how to enter the laboratory, they ought to call her and quit wasting their time. Senya told Laha to be patient, reminding her that their father had warned them not to push Darmoor, as he was an important client. She added that their father's words were applicable to Darmoor's people as well, and that while she didn't care whether Laha destroyed all the Constables, she reminded her sister to watch her attitude, warning that there would otherwise be trouble.

She also reminded Laha of what their father did to things that he couldn't control, to which Laha angrily told Senya to be quiet, threatening to rip out her memory chip and toss it into the sea before storming away. As Senya watched Laha leave, she noted to herself that she was sure that their father had heard their conversation.

Senya then noticed that the Adversary, the Glory Guard, and Alter, who was posing as a Constable, had been hiding and listening to her conversation with Laha. She called out to the Glory Guard and asked them to reveal themselves, promising that her sister was gone. She then brightly smiled at the Adversary and asked how they had been, noting that she hadn't expected them to arrive so soon. She then knowingly asked whether somebody had helped them along, though she added that they likely wouldn't tell her who it was anyways.

The Adversary ignored her question and instead noted that the girl whom she had been speaking with was her sister. Senya introduced her sister as Laha Angler, adding that they likely hadn't met before. She joked that Laha was a simpleton who never listened to her, adding that, as an older sister, she worried about Laha a lot. She noted that her little brother didn't listen either, though he had at least been cute. She admitted that his face had been ugly, though she regretted making fun of him for it.

The Adversary then realized that Senya was referring to T-Boy, and that if the Company didn't retrieve him, then it likely meant that he hadn't survived the fall off Karote. Senya warned the Adversary that they should stay out of Laha's way, as Laha wasn't one to use her words to express herself. She then noticed Alter and recognized him as a doll created by the ‘old men'. She laughed that the Adversary was the same as they had been back in the desert and the sewer, still getting attached to lifeless objects.

She then amusedly noted that they ought to stop trusting people before thanking them for cheering her up. With that, she decided to take her leave, explaining that she was busy enough with her father's work that she would look the other way while they left, adding that they wouldn't change anything by sticking around anyways.

Soon after, the Adversary faced off against Laha in an effort to reach the laboratory entrance. Alter then claimed that he would hold Laha off, allowing the Glory Guard to reach the laboratory door. From a distance, Senya observed what was happening and thought to herself that she had, after all, warned them not to cross Laha before silently noting to her father that they were on schedule.

Some time later, Kaling arrived and tricked the Adversary into opening the door to the laboratory for her. She then discovered Hundun, one of the Four Perils whom she had created, being used as the power source for Odium, as the elders had fused him with a Godsphere. Laha then arrived and began fighting Kaling over who would claim Hundun.

During their battle, the Adversary arrived and claimed the Godsphere before Master Tai Yu took them to Shangri-La. Senya then appeared with her robots and confronted both Kaling and Laha, revealing that she had brought their father. Their father, Alter, appeared before them, to which a surprised Kaling greeted him and noted that his face was different from the last time that she had seen him, causing her to realize that he had gotten a new body after the explosion of the Angler Company headquarters.

Alter greeted Kaling as an Apostle of Darmoor and apologized on Laha's behalf for her ungracious actions. He noted that children could be quite unruly when they weren't being supervised, to which Kaling told him that Laha had claimed to have acted on his orders. She then asked whether he intended to become enemies with Darmoor, to which Alter explained that there had been a misunderstanding, as he had never authorized Laha to attack her. He then conceded that Darmoor deserved more than a simply apology before approaching Laha.

Laha pleaded with her father, claiming that she had only done it for his sake, to which Alter reassured her that he knew that, as he had designed her to bring him exactly what he had wanted, adding that she didn't need to make excuses for that. He noted that it was commendable of her that she had wanted to bring him the Godsphere and all the power of Odium, adding that he knew that she would never let him down like her brother.

Upon hearing his words, a terrified Laha promised him that she wouldn't, adding that she only did what he had made her to do. Alter then thanked her before ripping out her mechanical heart and destroying it. He then asked Kaling whether she was satisfied, adding that Hundun was hers to take, and that he believed that even without the Godsphere, she would find some use for it. Kaling warned Alter that his next mistake would be his last, adding that he ought to consider himself lucky.

Alter then ordered Senya to command their robots to take all the knowledge in the laboratory, as he believed that there must be something that they could gain from the elders' research. After Alter left, Senya approached Laha's broken body and noted to herself that her father had killed Laha in front of her in order to demonstrate that he could kill her her too. Though she knew that he was more than capable of it for now, she also noted that things changed. She then decided that she needed to see Cosim.
