Alice The Seed

The World Tree (right) creating the Tower of Oz (left).

The Tower of Oz is a tower created by the World Tree. It functions as a dungeon for players that are Level 100 and up. A boss appears every 10 floors, most of which are based on The Wizard of Oz characters, though encountered (roughly) in a reverse order. Without Stupid Pills (known as Hazy Stones in KMS), the player is only allowed 10 minutes inside until they are booted out. Even with stupid pills, if you take too long inside a room, Finley the Flying Monkey will appear and kick the player out.

Note that Floor 43 will have a quiz based on your progress during that Tower of Oz, so the tips for 43 will be posted at the bottom of each relevant stage.

Pre-Entry

For Floor 43: you must know how many Oz Points you enter with, before you use or claim more during that run.

Floor 1

B - 01 F
The first floor is populated by Ancient Slimes.
They're extinct now, but once, they were as numerous as Orange Mushrooms are today.
To clear this floor, you must either defeat 100 Ancient Slimes or deal a certain amount of damage to them.
Map Undersea 1F
Undersea 1F

Eliminate 100 Ancient Blue Slimes and Ancient Purple Slimes (total), or do a total of 50,000,000 damage to the Slimes in the map.

For Floor 43: you must remember the following:

  1. How many monsters you killed (it will show up on the top of the screen when you clear the stage).
  2. How much damage you dealt in total, without commas (it will show up on the top of the screen when you clear the stage).

This stage will have a Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue card seals on different corners of the map, each with a number. To pass this stage, you must place a higher number for each card. To do this, you must pick up Seal Breaker Cards dropped by the Hectors and White Fangs in the map. Each time you pick up a Seal Breaker Card, it will give you a random color and number. If this number is higher than what is currently on the card portal, head to that card seal and press Up on it to replace the current card. For example, if the Blue card portal currently has a 4, and you pick up a card that gives you a Blue 5, then you can use it to replace the card at the portal. A Violet card, if picked up, can replace any color and reset it to 1 for the next person to enter this stage. Do this for Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue to advance to the next floor.

For Floor 43: you must remember the following:

  1. The color and number of the first card you picked up.
  2. The color and number of the last card you picked up.
  3. The total number of cards picked up.
  4. The number of each card used to trick each seal (a random color will be asked).

Floor 3

B – 03 F
The adventurers who came before you are locked in an Epic Battle of Magical Egg Replication.
Pick someone to give your Ancient Turtle Eggs to. If they win, they'll magically increase them.
Collect 1,000 Ancient Turtle Eggs to unlock the way to the next floor.
Map Undersea 3F
Undersea 3F

Kill Ancient Turtles and pick up 1,000 eggs. In the middle of the map, you can 'bet' any amount lower than half the number of eggs you have collected to Fleta, Secreta, or Ripley. If you win, you will receive double the amount of eggs in return, and if you lose, you will receive back the eggs you gave to that NPC. Of course, betting the eggs is optional, and may not be worth the time.

For Floor 43: you must remember the following:

  1. How many times you selected either Fleta, Secreta, or Ripley.
  2. How many times the person you selected won.

Note that if you chose not to bet any eggs, 0 will be the answer.

Floor 4

B – 04 F
On this floor...
You must keep the monster populations on opposite sides of the gorge balanced.
Depending on how it goes, you'll have to cross over to eliminate monsters and balance them out.
Be careful not to fall when crossing over, though!
Map Undersea 4F
Undersea 4F

Kill Wild Kargos on either side, depending on which side is balanced. When the spawn isn't balanced, you will have to reach the opposite side of the map and kill Wild Kargos there, or else your balance score will decrease. Obtain a score of 300 to advance to the next floor.

For Floor 43: you must remember how many balance points you lost.

These are Slimes. Ahh, they used to be so cute...
But they became just as corrupted as the rest. Sometimes I wonder if this tower was ever a good idea.
It's a real shame, but I'm sick of having my tower messed with. Take out 300 of them so I can open the door to the next floor.
Oh, and don't freak out if you see a King Slime. It's just like an extra big Slime.

Eliminate 300 Slimes. If a King Slime spawns and you defeat it, it counts as 30 Slimes, but it only remains on the map for 10 seconds at a time.

For Floor 43: you must remember how many King Slimes you defeated.

Floor 7

B – 07 F
These Lupins got all messed up on Black Mage mojo and they're attacking everyone.
Oh geez, look over there! A wounded person!
Defeat all the Lupins and rescue him. I'll go open the door to the next floor.
Be extra careful. If you can't save the wounded guy, I don't know if I have the heart to let you continue.

Protect Ripley the wounded explorer from Lupins. You must survive 18 waves of monsters, with the Lupins spawning on the right, left, or both sides.

The goal of this stage is to navigate to the bottom. There are 8 rows, and 4 platforms on each row, with only 1 correct. When you get it incorrect, you will be sent back to the top. After you find the correct platform on each row, it will have a light above it to make sure you don't forget it. When you are done, advance to the next floor.

For Floor 43: you must remember the following:

  1. The correct platform on a certain floor (a random floor will be asked, 1 to 4 from left to right).
  2. How many times you returned to the beginning after selecting the wrong platform.

It can summon Spiderling Cocoons, which hatch into Spiderlings after a short time, which the Giant Spider can consume to heal HP. It can also teleport to you and cast Damage Reflect. Luckily, the Giant Spider has very low HP, so the battle will be very short.

In a moment of brilliant air-headedness, I made the path through this floor invisible.
If you can't find the path, click the Up arrows scattered throughout, and I'll briefly reveal the way.
But I'll only do it three times. I have other things to do, you know. Like counting the pressure cracks in the wall.
Use the Clever Lady Hotline if you fall, and I'll send you back to an earlier location.

Complete the jump quest in the map. Note that the platforms are invisible, but you can press up on the portal right before a section of the jump quest (3 total sections) to view the platform locations once, which also counts as a waypoint in the jump quest when using the Clever Lady Hotline. If you fall, you can use the Clever Lady Hotline to help bring you back to your most recent waypoint.

For Floor 43: you must remember the following:

  1. How many times you fell and used the Clever Lady Hotline to teleport back to the most recent waypoint.
  2. If Alicia asked you to wait for someone else to finish viewing the platform locations (Yes or No).

Defeat the boss, the Scarecrow. You cannot use your attacks to bring him down due to his extremely high defenses. Instead, you must lure him into the blazing fire at the center of the map to slowly bring down his health, with him taking more damage every 10 seconds he is in the fire (in 20 phases). Beware of his continuous thunderbolts and cloning, as they get stronger with each phase of burning. When the Scarecrow is defeated, move on to the next stage.
