Bowmaster is a branch of the Explorer Bowman class. Upon reaching Level 30, an Explorer Bowman can become a Bowmaster by choosing to become a Hunter after completing the 2nd Job Advancement at Level 30. Their second job is Hunter, their third job is Ranger, and their fourth job is Bowmaster.
The Bowmaster job branch focuses on shooting arrows up close and afar, inundating their enemies with flurries of arrows. They specialize in Bows as primary weapons and Arrow Fletchings as secondary weapons. They have several skills to make use of their range, including Arrow Blaster, which fires arrows at a fast speed and can be installed. They also make use of Hurricane, which fires arrows like a storm at a single enemy.
They also make use of special arrows with their job specialty skill Quiver Cartridge, which alternates between 3 special arrows: Blood Arrow, which allows the player to recover HP when attacking; Poison Arrow, which deals damage over time to enemies and increases critical damage; and Magic Arrow, which fires extra arrows at enemies alongside your normal attacks. This skill is upgraded in 4th job with Enchanted Quiver, which allows Bowmasters to keep using one type of arrow for a short period of time.
1st Job Advancement
When the player reaches Level 10 as a Beginner, aspiring Bowmen will be sent to the Bowman Instructional School in Henesys to talk to Athena Pierce, who will advance the player to an Archer. The player will be given an HP and MP boost, as well as a basic bowman weapon.
2nd Job Advancement
At Level 30, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from Athena Pierce, who will send the player back to the Bowman Instructional School. She will allow the player to choose to advance to either a Hunter or a Crossbowman; a player that desires to become a Bowmaster will want to advance to a Hunter. Athena Pierce will send the player to a special map to collect 30 Dark Marbles from the Stone Golems inside. Upon returning, she will advance you to a Hunter.
3rd Job Advancement
At Level 60, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from Athena Pierce once again, who will teleport the player to the Chief's Residence in El Nath to speak with Rene. She will teleport the player to the Dead Mine's Holy Ground at the Snowfield, where the player must click on the Holy Stone at the bottom of the map to enter another dimension. Once there, walk to the right portal to enter the Dimensional World and defeat Athena Pierce's Clone inside to obtain the Black Charm. Return to Rene with the quest item in hand to advance from a Hunter to a Ranger.
4th Job Advancement
At Level 100, the player will receive a lightbulb on the side from Rene. After speaking to her, the player must head to Leafre and venture to the Forest of the Priest, which can be accessed by walking to Valley of the Antelope 1 and entering the portal on the top right (indicated by a wooden face-like structure) to meet Legor. He will give the player the task to obtain the Heroic Pentagon from Manon, Herald of Heroes and the Heroic Star from Griffey Herald of Heroes. Return to Legor and speak to him again to advance from a Ranger to a Bowmaster.
