Hello everyone. As some of you may know, the Familiar system has been reworked, and all Familiar Cards serve the same function, with the different familiars being mostly cosmetic (and for Badges / sets). As a result, I was planning to revamp the Familiar Card page, but I'm still brainstorming a couple of ideas for it.
Here's what I definitely plan to do:
- Remove all the individual card pages (such as Propelly Familiar or Curse Eye Familiar. Since familiars all have the same function without any unique skills anymore, these are no longer necessary.

Hello everyone. I've been thinking about what to do with the Leftovers pages:
Originally I wanted to rebuild the pages from scratch, but I realized that it may be more work than it's worth. I was thinking of outright removing these pages, as they require a lot of work to maintain, and I don't think these pages are all that popular / important. We used to have NPC lists based on towns as well, but we decided to remove those as well.
As a replacement, we could consolidate the pages into a single category page, with a basic description of leftovers. Do you guys want to:
A. Remove these pages
B. Modify them (with details)
So I was thinking about how we have a lot of pages for various mobs, such as Party Quests, Monster Park, Mirror World, Mu Lung Dojo, and more. What I was wondering is: should we move these to their respective pages, or should we leave it as is?
If we were to move them, here are a couple of links as examples:

This change would not apply to most Special Mobs (with a few exceptions, such as the Hyperspace Cube and Evolution System)
Let me know what you guys think: should we move them or keep it as is? If you have other suggestions, feel free to bring them up.
So I've been noticing that it's kind of inconvenient for people to navigate the level range pages (such as these):
The problem is people don't have an efficient way to navigate without using the navigation footer on each page. I was thinking of changing the way pages are structured by changing the URLs and including Tab navigation, as follows:
I also don't think the old format works logically, since "Level" applies to all of these, not just non-Reboot, non-Quest mobs. I would also be splitting Monster/Quest/201 - 250 into multiple pages.
I'll keep the old formats as redirects, but I'll be updating the URLs and keeping the Normal mob lists as the default.

Hey guys! In lieu of PirateIzzy's notice of departure and the future of this wiki's maintenance uncertain, I've decided to step up to try to keep the gears turning. Compared to other admins in the past like Richmond2010, and of course, PirateIzzy, I've got big shoes to fill, but I'll try the best to my ability.
Special thanks to PirateIzzy for all the hard work they've put into this wiki and I hope them the very best in the future.
This is kind of like just a fantasy idea about what you can do with Maple Items.
If you collect like a super large number of the following items:
Rock Of Times
The Magic Rocks
Power, LUK, Wisdom, DEX, Dark Crystals (Depending on the type of Maple Weapon)
Probably some other types of items
Then you can somehow upgrade early maple items (maybe ones that existed before big bang) and they will have very unique stats that also somehow reflect how people experienced the given item a long time ago.
[Upgraded Thief Maple Weapons will add to the user an incredibly high amount of the LUK stat, so as to mimic the effects of being a Dexless Assassin, and maybe they will give more speed]

Proposing the number of Batches of training 2-5 characters to level 121. Following the success of training Xenon to Level 121 in order to level up his Link skill from 1 to 2, I'm proposing to train my characters to reach level 121 prior to the release of the Blaster class in the Heroes of Maple Patch.

As you guys may have known, I'm a player from the MapleSEA region, the reason for me to join is because I wish to help and contribute in this Wikia. It's my first time at it, so if I do make mistakes do tell me about it right here :)
Nevertheless, I will continue to help out in this Wikia if any help is needed during my free time :)
I would really like to help out more with the wiki, especially in fixing up some of the entries in the long list of wanted pages. I really want to focus on the NPC template first, a lot of its links are broken, more than half in fact. However, I don't know how to extract any information from .wz files, and this makes it pretty hard to get pictures for the NPCs, along with just information about the game in general.
I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a program that I can use :3

Hey, guys! Recently, I posted an adoption request at the Wikia Community Central to become an administrator (and hopefully a bureaucrat as well, since this Wikia is severely lacking when it comes to active admins, and Richmond2010, the last bureaucrat to edit, hasn't logged in since August 2013). I was wondering what you guys thought about me becoming a new bureaucrat. Of course, I'm not only limiting this to myself, but D0raemon and Darrylpoh are also eligible for becoming bureaucrats, since they are the more active out of the remaining admins (though they don't contribute much anymore), so let me know what you guys think below!

As said by the title, I am writing this to inform the admin and others that I will usually/most of the time update the MapleSEA slots as I am currently playing on that server, so I know or better to say, always updated myself to all the future updates. I will only help to update the rest of the server if I am 100% sure about the update, otherwise, I will leave it as it is and let the proffesonals do it!

Hey guys! After I did (part of) the Zero skills, I noticed a lot of different placings of the navigation boxes (e.g. Template:Warrior and Template:Warrior Skills being used on the same page). Also, the width of the Template:Warrior Skills is a bit too big for the skill tables that normally appear on the left.
Since Template:Warrior Skills is older, I'll change all navigation boxes to Template:Warrior, and they will be placed at the bottom. Since this removes navigation at the top of the page, I'll also make a new template specific for each class (e.g. 'Dark Knight') for access to I, II, III and IV skills.

Hi. I have a problem. When I choose the Cygnus Knights class, after doing all of the training missions, and when I get to the "5 Paths" Job Advancement mission at level 10, I get this problem. Only Thunder Breaker, Dawn Warrior, and Wind Archer are able to be chosen. Why can't I choose Blaze Wizard or, especially, Night Walker? I also just tried it again, (I deleted my character and did the entire thing over about three times) and even during the limited time Job and Character release event, (it started Nov. 14, it's Nov. 16) which is in the Dawnveil update notes.
Is this just a glitch that keeps happening? Is it the channel that's broken? Or is GlobalMS unallowed to make Night Walker and Blaze Wizard characters? Please respond if you know …

The purpose of this is to give readers convenience. For skills with extremely long text boxes, the horizontal scroll bar is at the way bottom of the text box - meaning - readers have to scroll up and down.
Another question is this - would you like hidden skills to remain as it is, removed from the wiki entirely, or placed in a separate section labeled 'hidden'? This is to prevent confusion for readers.
This roll out would take place in phases.

Nowadays, patches are no longer exciting - and yes, they're all skill revamps! And they would start hyping every so often, and disappoint excited Maplers.

Anyway, there's one thing I noticed about skill revamps occurring this month onwards. I'm not entirely sure if this was done by a new team at Nexon KR, but all the evidence points out that this is deliberate. This thing I'm talking about, is the retaining of "deleted" skills. This phenomenon started with the Wind Archer revamp, and up till now, is still occurring. In the most recent patch (v477), Nexon reordered the skills, so extra work has to be done.

Well, I must say this is a very good Version's Exclusive, even though all the sprites are reused, and the background are recolors of previous areas. Veracent is like a maze, maps use the same name (which got me confused, since I'm using Sewil's extractor and not using old method, if I was, I wouldn't be so confused), monsters level are varied between 45 ~ 100 (or so they say from the forums), ridiculously high spawns which will cost you EXP if you AFK for half a minute, that's why lots of high-leveled players started to grind there. Previously, I was looking around the monsters page when I was adding the Helisium mobs. I realized that the monsters pages are untidy. This is not like Skills reorganization so it will take a while before this gets completed, if the project was started. The monster section of this page is currently what I have in mind. The Black Mage will be released, but is not the end game boss. Well, Akatsukino-jin is actually a separate "race" (well, technically all classes are human, except Nova) from the others. Akatsukino-jin has two classes - Hayato and Kanna (currently unreleased), both have four jobs.
When I was looking through Hayato's skills, I was shocked, and also quite happy. There were absolutely NO PvP skills, so the work of adding the skills is reduced a lot. Which means the skills are not altered in any way when you enter PvP, and that is also a good sign. Wait until there's OP Hayato'-es' everywhere in PvP.
I've re-watched the cutscenes from Maplestory, even Demon Slayer's and Luminous and I'll try to piece things together.
- The heroes had a first run-in with Black Mage, and the ffirst major battle either ended up in a draw or a victory for the Black Mage.
- The heroes form a strategy to battle and defeat the Black Mage.
- They storm the Black Mage's temple and began fighting off his minions and henchmen.

Hmm... The data from the files don't make sense. I think I shall do the Dragon Warrior quests first to understand the tutorial maps.
NOTE: The files are bloody messed up. The encryption in CMS is different from CMST! The extractor says everything is changed! If I'll have to search manually it would take months or even years. So changes in the WZ files have to wait until either CMS or TMS releases Dragon Warrior on their official server.
EDIT: Even the Quests don't make sense! The quests are for Beginner only, but you will have to complete a quest first, and that quest does not exist in the game files. Which is equivalent to no tutorial quests, which does not make sense. Also, there are tutorial quests in-game, so I wonder how does THAT work? …
