The World Tree, also known as Alice or Alicia, is Maple World's Transcendence of Life and is the source of life itself.
Story
The World Tree was first mentioned in Future Henesys. Cygnus was obsessed with it and sought to find it. She eventually did, but it was actually a trap laid by the Black Mage. Cygnus and her Knights then became corrupted and Ereve crashed onto the surface of the world. Her forces then began to proceed in overtaking Maple World.
The World Tree was eventually discovered in Root Abyss. The Black Mage tried to rob her powers, but she escaped and retreated to Root Abyss to recuperate. However, she was found by the Black Mage Commander Damien, who sent his generals Von Bon, Pierre, Crimson Queen, and Vellum to taint the area in order to keep her trapped. After the Maple Alliance finds her, they realize that something is keeping the World Tree at bay despite all the methods of escape being used. They then formulate a plan to eliminate all of Damien's generals to break the seal.
After all four generals are defeated, the World Tree requests to go visit Ereve, since she has been underground for so long and has not been able to see the surface world. The Maple Alliance reluctantly agrees, but they know that she will be safer there.
