Trivia suggestion awaiting approval

I would like to suggest an edit to the "Trivia" section of the article. As I do not want to risk getting banned for indirect advertising, I would like to put this part in the Talk section, hoping that an administrator will look at this and permit me to place it in the article in the future.

The foundation of Shade's storyline (Shade being erased from existence) may be a reference to Ninety-Eighty Four by George Orwell .

When the Party wants to remove certain people (unpersons) from the memories of others, the Ministry of Truth (Newspeak : Minitrue) rewrites records and deletes the unpersons from photographs. As the people of Oceania practice doublethink , the unpersons are forgotten by others forever as they believe that the unpersons never existed.

I hope that the administrators may look at this edit suggestion and judge whether or not can this be placed in the article. Thank you for reading.

The thing about Shade's storyline is that George Orwell's 1984 isn't the only other source that uses the element of being erased from existence. TV Tropes even has a page for being erased and forgotten, so I don't think it's necessary. It's not necessarily a reference to 1984, but it is similar to it. --PirateIzzy (talk) 02:14, December 17, 2014 (UTC)
